I finally had enough courage to tell my parents what I wanted to do with my life. My mom cried for days after I told her I had changed my major from Biology to Design. She went to other people in our Vietnamese community to seek their help in making me change my mind back. There were those who supported my decision and others who told me I was being an idiot. But I stood by what was in my heart. It's sad that I can't make my parents happy, but I have to do what makes me happy. I've been living someone else's dream for so long, sometimes I get mixed up about my own. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Here's to a new year of growth and changes.
